As I start my blogging adventure, I first want to tell you a
little bit about myself and why I am starting this blog. My name is Stefanie.
On August 18, 2012, I married the most amazing man in the world, Kameron House.
Getting married is a huge step for anyone. But in the past 6 months I have
taken more than a few huge steps, I have taken gigantic leaps and bounds,
which have all changed my life dramatically.
In May I graduated college.
Over the summer I
planned my wedding.
We had the wedding.
We went on a short honeymoon.
I packed up my entire life and moved to Alaska where I know about 3 people.
I started two new jobs just a week after moving here.
Changed one of those jobs a month after living here.
You get the picture. My life has been a whirlwind of crazy changes. I have probably made more life changes in the past 6 months than many people make over the course of 5 years. But you know what? I wouldn’t change a thing. While there have been hard times, it is the people I have in my life that made getting through all of these changes exciting rather than unbearable. This blog is meant to share with you all of the different aspects of my new life that help me feel more at home. I’ll share everything from crafts, to decorating tips, to fashion, to baking, to books. I hope that people will come to realize that no matter how far away from home you are, you can always make a new home right where you are at.
